Ayse Ünal
Co-Founder / Creative Director
Ayse Ünal is a versatile creative director and filmmaker, specializing in character-driven animation.
Her work spans commercials, TV animations, and films, blending imagination with technical expertise across various media, including CG, 2D, stop motion and live action. She co-directed Bad Cat (Kötü Kedi Şerafettin), produced by Anima Istanbul, which gained international recognition at festivals such as Annecy and Sitges.
In 2019, Ayse co-founded Rafa Film with Arda Erdik, producing distinctive animated content for game companies and television. She also holds a Master’s degree from Columbia University, specializing in Instructional Media and Technology, which enhances her approach to original IP production.
From 2023 to 2024, Ayse served as the creative director of performance marketing at Dream Games, helping bring their top-charting global games to new audiences.
Arda Erdik
Co-Founder / Creative Director
Arda Erdik is one of the most awarded creative directors in Turkey.
He started his career in advertising as a copywriter in 2001 and joined DDB Istanbul Group in 2006. In 2012, he took a sabbatical to see more of the world.
After the break, he returned to Istanbul and joined Tribal Worldwide Istanbul in 2013 as Executive Creative Director. In 2016, he became the Creative Chairman of the agency.
Under his creative leadership, a re-structured Tribal Worldwide Istanbul became one of the most creative and fastest-growing agencies in Turkey.

He is also a partner in startups such as the artificial intelligence-driven research company Platon.Ai and the creative animation company Rafa Film.
